If you like early Nebraska Territory history or early railroad history you will love this little booklet from the Union Pacific Railroad from 1867. In it are the detailed plans of the Union Pacific to run their rail lines from Omaha to the West.
It’s a quick read (23 pages) with a really nice map and a few notes. A lengthy advertisement for the “opening of Nebraska” to the West and Nebraska’s low cost of living and cheap lands.
