Bemis, real estate loan & general collection agent and notary public, office cor. Douglas & 15th St, Omaha, Neb.” is printed in the lower right corner. The Missouri River can be seen on the right side of the map. Individual tracts of land are marked with numbers along the streets of the city, and large portions of land on the outskirts of the city are marked with the names of their owners. In the upper left corner of the map, there is an illustration of an eagle holding a banner in its beak. On the banner is a panoramic drawing of the city of Omaha. The title of the map is partly encircled by a drawn representation of “old channel of 1876.”
